Ocell.ai is a React and Flask based desktop application that identifies images of insects
using a pretrained AI model.

Why did we make Ocell.ai?

This project was built by our team of 6 people as part of a mandatory Capstone Course in the final year of our Computer Science degree at the University of Auckland.
The project was built for a real client - Landcare Research, who provided a pretrained AI model and gave us a specification for the project.

What does this project contain?

• Frontend built with React and uses Javascript, HTML and CSS.
• Backend written in Python and uses Flask.
• Complete and intuitive documentation.
